European Delegation to Cuba, Under the supervision of the Head of Political and Economic Section:

Lead for reporting and analysis: Political affairs, Economics (Micro and micro facts and trends, Trade, Investments), International affairs (Regional integration, EU-Cuba and US-Cuba relations), and support for Human Rights and CSOs affairs.

Lead for cultural affairs: cultural diplomacy, organization of cultural events (EU Film Festival, EU literary days)

Lead on the ground for the implementation of the EU-Cuba Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement (signed in December 2016, entered into provisional application in November 2017)

Coordination work of EU positions on the ground: chair of EU Economic and Trade working group, chair of Culture working group, secretariat of Heads of Mission working group, organization of joint démarches with Cuban authorities.

Preparation of high-level political visits from headquarters (programmes, briefs, analysis, logistics): High Representative/Vice President of the Commission, Commissioner for Development, Special Envoy for Human Rights, European Parliament, European Investment Bank, European Economic and Social Committee, etc.

Representation work, notably: on behalf of the EU, to the Association of Caribbean States Summit of Havana (June 2016)

Nicaragua Country Office - Under the supervision of the Deputy Representative, Programme coordinator:

Social Policy
Advising on and mainstreaming of social policy in UNICEF country programme
Coordination of studies: multidimensional child poverty analysis, mapping of social protection systems
Lead for Child-friendly public spending: public budget monitoring analysis with Ministry of Finance, participation in regional seminar on investment in children (Quito, May 2015), Member of UNICEF’s Public Finance For Children Community, Focal point for Investing in Children working group of Nicaragua’s Global Movement for Children chapter
Participation in the design and implementation of inclusive social policies for children (national and regional levels)
Advocacy for integrating child rights in development cooperation: organisation of regional trainings of trainers in Managua and on the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua (Bilwi and Bluefields) in October 2015
Human resources: selection, supervision, coaching, and evaluation of interns, UNVs (nationals and internationals) and consultants

Mainstreaming, knowledge exchange and reporting on innovations in UNICEF Nicaragua country programme
Design, launch, and coordination of BICU’s Lab (Bluefields), first UNICEF-supported social innovation lab in Central America
